Climate Change
Northam Town Council has declared a 'Climate Emergency'.
On the 22nd July 2019 resolved to adopt a motion declaring a Climate Emergency and set in motion the work that is outlined on this page.
The Council has committed to producing an action plan by the end of the year with the aim of securing NET zero carbon emissions in parish activities by 2030.
A Climate Change Action Plan was adopted. It will help us move to a low carbon, sustainable and resilient future and support our community in this vital journey.
What is your Carbon Footprint?
Your carbon footprint is a measure of the amount of carbon dioxide you contribute to the atmosphere through your lifestyle.
