May Fair 2022

Success of the May Fair 2022

What a big success the May Fair was this year, it definitely bigger and better than before with crowds of people attending and the vast amount of entertainment and stall to see.

The new attraction “Walking Dinosaurs” the entire village lined with stalls, from Northam Hall to the Methodist Church in Cross Street, the Community Centre, Fore Street and into Northam Square. The Vicarage grounds hosting the Arena for your favourite acts also miniature steam train rides, Merlin’s circus school, Exmoor Zoo and Punch and Judy was spectacular.

The day started at 10am outside Northam Library with a parade including a Children’s Fancy Dress competition, theme- “The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee”

We would also like to thank everyone who is involved in the May Fair, everyone from the visitors, stall holders, volunteer marshals, volunteers in the cafe and organisers to all of the Northam Town Council staff who work so hard throughout the day. The fair would not be the great success it is without any of you!

We have managed to capture some highlights of the day, courtesy of Graham Hobbs. Hope that you enjoy looking through them and looking forward to what next years May Fair may bring........Watch this space.
