NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From WEDNESDAY 9 APRIL 2025
for a maximum of 18 months
Anticipated Finish WEDNESDAY 7 MAY 2025
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected
Roads.
Roads affected -
FIRST RALEIGH AND NORTHAM ROAD, BIDEFORD , FIRST RALEIGH ( FROM
JUNCTION WITH NORTHAM ROAD TO JUNCTION WITH FORD LANDS CRESCENT )
AND NORTHAM ROAD ( FROM JUNCTION WITH FIRST RALEIGH TO OPPOSITE
VALLEY VIEW )
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - NORTHAM ROAD, PITT LANE,
HIGH STREET, OLD TOWN, MEDON STREET, TORRIDGE HILL, NEW ROAD,THE
QUAY, KINGSLEY ROAD, HEYWOOD ROAD, RALEIGH HILL, SOUTHCOTT ROAD,
KENWITH ROAD, FORLANDS CRESCENT AND VICE VERSA
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable -
ROAD CLOSURE REQUIRED ON FIRST RALEIGH AND NORTHAM ROAD TO
SAFELY CARRY OUT GAS MAINS REPLACEMENTS WORKS DUE TO THE
LOCATION OF THE MAIN.
