Many functions are the responsibility of the County and District Council but in these difficult times more responsibilities are being passed to the Town Council.
The Town Council Office provides a wide range of advice and often helps people find the right organisation to deal with their problems or queries. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm.
This venue is available to hire for meetings, classes, wedding receptions, childrens' parties. Hire conditions and application forms are available on the Northam Hall page.
Grant applications from local groups are welcomed and they should be made during the month of September. The relevant forms will be available online or at the Council office.
The Council has two allotment sites, one at Windmill Lane managed by the Council and one at Burrough Farm, managed by an Association. Plots at both sites are allocated by the Town Council from a waiting list. Applications to be added to the waiting list can be made online, via the Contact page or in person at the Council Office. Applicants must reside within the Town Council area.
